MRI showed a shortened right sternocleidomastoid muscle. The patient underwent surgical release of torticollis. Full range of motion of the neck was achieved after the surgical management.</p> <p><strong>Conclusion</strong>: Congenital torticollis is a rare condition of the head and neck region.
