Dear Readers,
Bismillah Hirahman Nirahim!
First of all, we congratulate the Philippine Journal of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (PJO-HNS) under the leadership of Dr. Jose Florencio F. Lapeña Jr. – Editor-in-Chief, on the acceptance into Scopus indexing- one of the world’s leading abstract and citation databases for peer- reviewed literature. This is an opportunity for research recognition and international collaboration for the society.
Building on the momentum, I am thrilled to present to you our second regular issue of the Philippine Journal of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery for 2025. As I mentioned in our previous issue, our goal is to foster collaboration, promote evidence-based practices, and share diverse perspectives on the challenges we face in healthcare. This issue continues to reflect these values, with a collection of outstanding articles that further enrich our understanding of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery.
We are proud to feature contributions from our esteemed colleagues and experts who continue to push the boundaries of knowledge in our field. Their work serves as a testament to the vibrant tapestry of research and innovation that defines our community.
As we continue to move forward together, I invite you to engage with these articles, share your thoughts, and consider how they might inform your own work. Your participation remains vital in making this journal a rich resource for all. I also encourage you to submit your own research or articles for future issues, as your contributions will continue to shape the future of medicine.
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to our mission. Your dedication to advancing medical science and improving patient outcomes inspires us all. I look forward to seeing how our collective efforts will continue to shape the future of medicine.
Mabuhay ang PJO-HNS! Mabuhay ang PSO-HNS!
